Allanton
At over 1400 acres Firefight Scotland's Allanton site is the biggest in the UK. With terrain ranging from dense woodland to open grassland the possibilities are endless.
In among the rolling hills and deep dark woods can be found a ruined farmhouse - complete with courtyard, which can often be found full of players struggling to gain an advantage over their opponents whilst avoiding opportunistic snipers. There's a large stone bridge leading over our deep ravine to "The Alamo" - another stone house where many a team have made their last stand. These, and many more features that make up the rest of the site, make for a gamesite where there's always something new to find, and somewhere new to fight.
New game areas and ideas are always being explored - Our ridiculously dark "Spooky Woods" area has become synonymous with the "Predator" last-man-standing style game that the site has recently started playing to great effect, and people new to the game or the site can always find a friendly face amongst the marshals and regular players.
Drymen
In addition to the woodland site at Alanton, we have a secondary "Desert Warfare" site at Tulloch Quarry near Drymen.
The terrain here is far harsher, with the bleak landscape between the rough hills on the outsides of the site offering little cover save for the maze of deep sandy ravines and the odd bunker or barricade to hide behind.
Play here can be very exciting, and many have commented that it feels like a cross between the Middle East and the Falkland Islands.
